Overview
Flux spans the territory from ordered resonance to pure chaos across seven modes: tuned resonant filter banks, plucked-string physical modeling, four colors of noise (including a Lorenz-attractor “quantum” noise), and an evolving harmonic drone. Three pots cover frequency, rate, and a per-mode character control.
Modes
| # | Mode | |
|---|---|---|
| 0 | Modal | Tuned resonant filter bank (string / piano / bell) |
| 1 | Karplus | Plucked-string physical model |
| 2 | White | Full-spectrum noise |
| 3 | Pink | 1/f natural-spectrum noise |
| 4 | S&H | Sample-and-hold stepped noise |
| 5 | Quantum | Lorenz-attractor chaotic noise |
| 6 | Drone | Evolving harmonic texture |
Panel & I/O
| Control | Pin | Function |
|---|---|---|
| POT1 | A0 | Frequency / pitch (V/Oct CV) |
| POT2 | A1 | Rate / trigger speed / chaos rate |
| POT3 | A2 | Character — brightness / inharmonicity / slew / chaos / evolution |
| BUTTON | GPIO6 | Short = cycle modes · long = manual trigger/pluck |
| OUT | GPIO1 | Out — PWM audio |
| LED | GPIO5 | Blinks on trigger |
